IPhone 6s Plus not backing up OTA

My iPhone 6sPlus is backing up over iCloud when I plug it in to iTunes but not OTA when I press backup in my iPhone. Today I received a message on my iPhone when I turned it on saying, it hadn't been backed up for 3 weeks but it was only backed up yesterday over iCloud on iTunes. Any suggestions?

It's ok now thanks I found the reason i had a VPN and I didn't switch it off while trying to back up from my iPhone
