Has anyone gotten their delivery in the US yet? I'm in Houston and mine was shipped via UPS. Which means by end of Business day delivery (3-330). Just curious if those who ordered directly from AT&T was shipped via fedex.

I'm in PA. Still waiting...

depends entirely on your location.

Plus UPS/FEDEX are insanely busy today.

Also, "end of business day" means 8PM for UPS

Breaking news: Heavier iPhones are less light than lighter iPhones.

Totally confusing, usually MR writes:

It is not clear......

On a side note, what if, (just what if) the guys right hand finger is slightly longer, i.e. it gets to tap
a split millisecond sooner.

7 1/2 minute to demonstrate 6/10 of second speed improvement.

Next test will be how fast he can pick up the 6s vs. the 6 from the desk.

Right because one video from one person determines it. I guess everyone who doesn't have their phone yet should cancel their order now. o_O

It just demonstrates that the speed improvement is something people will generally not notice all that much. It only really matters when loading heavy apps.

Walt Mossberg essentially lied/exaggerated with his review of the 6S saying its 'SO FAST!'. Sigh.
Probably a combination of things - Networking/WiFi would be faster if you have an AC router- that guy has very slow WiFi - technically this phone is faster (2500/4340 (Geekbench) - in reality most people will not see a difference.

To me all of this speed test crap its irrelevant

if you are on 4/4s/5/5s - you are probably on a regular 2 contract - for you, this would be an enormous upgrade

If you are 6/6 plus - you are probably on an installment plan - this would be a no brainer - it will cost you nothing (at most taxes) to upgrade

Well duh.

That's what 2GB RAM and more powerful cores do.

Clickbait.

What a ridiculous article!
I disagree; Apple boasted 70% faster CPU performance and up to 90% faster graphics compared to the previous iPhone. This article and embedded video are evidence that theses spec. differences don't equate to a very significant increase in speed when opening apps.

Why go to all the trouble of showing the backs of the phones, and the settings screens to prove that the left phone is a 6+ and the right phone is a 6s+..

And then have a really dodgy cross fade to another video with two phones in ( roughly ) the same places.

I'm not saying that I believe the video is a fake, just that if I'm gonna trust he hasn't swapped one of the phones in the 2nd part of the video, then I'm just as likely to trust him from the beginning and he could just skip the entire first part.

Is there a delay between tapping on an app and it actually opening, like there is on the 6/6+?

Jersey and still waiting for delivery via UPS

Surprised. Barely any difference. "So much faster" is a joke.

Loading stock apps and clearing them out of the app switcher is probably the worst way to show off the speed difference. He should've loaded a game with 3D graphics or several Safari tabs or several apps simultaneously.

Processor-intensive apps, app switching, and multiple webpages will show off the 6s Plus, not loading Weather with nothing else running!

Anyone know if 2GB RAM will allow me to keep tabs opening Safari without the need to constantly auto-reload data? One of my frustrations with existing mobile Safari.
