Having been disappointed by Samsung in the past, I'm going to wait until some user reviews, not shill, I mean 🙂 websites reviews.

I like the look of the phone, but I'm not sure yet.

I bought an S4 around this time in 2013, ended up hating it, and got a 5s on launch day.
I bought an S5 around this time in 2014, ended up hating it, and got a 6 on launch day.
Maybe the third time's a charm?

To be fair, the S4 was very bloated and the S5 was just ugly-looking. In my opinion, things changed for the better with the S6 and are close to excellence with the S7.

Wow! The Galaxy S7 Edge is Fantastic!

It's smaller than iPhone 6S by a significant amount. The battery is also much more powerful, the memory expansion slot is back with the phone supporting 200GB of storage.

With a new 5.5" display that has a much higher resolution than the rather low resolution iPhone, Samsung has a stunningly beautiful phone on its hands.

A blockbuster home run for Samsung!

I recently switched from the 6S Plus to the Note 5 and I am very happy that I did. For those not needing the S Pen features, the S7 edge looks amazing.

iPhone will always be my number 1 phone device now but I'am tempted by the s7 edge to have as a 2nd phone. Loving the new edge panels.

After 5 months of owning the iPhone 6S it's back to Samsung. S7 Edge coming right up. I will be watching what Apple does with iPhone 7 and hopefully they can tone down the size of the iPhone 7 Plus and not gimp the regular size. If Samsung can make a 5.1" and 5.7" phone with the only internal difference being battery size then Apple should be able to do the same.

I've been on a 6s Plus since mid-December and I preordered the S7 edge today. I'm still a little leery about the switch, but I miss the freedom of Android. I'll probably hang on to my iPhone, just in case...

Nope, not this time. Always get suckered into samsung's latest phones then walk away disappointed. The iPhone is just a better overall experience
Yep.

Every new Galaxy phone that comes out, people go "ok ok ok THIS time samsung REALLY nailed it, seriously". And I fell for it many times, and throughout the years purchased the Galaxy S4, Note 3, S6, Note 4, Note 5....all were horrible, and I ran back to iPhone.

That's about enough of that.

I don't like this device all that much. Hardware, build, display, and camera are all great, but I loathe TouchWiz and the fact that no matter what you get bloatware and performance hits from all the extra junk in the software. Give me an S7 Edge with Stock Android and I'd be a happy Android user.

I agree. I didn't get the S6 line but I've had every Samsung flagship since the original galaxy note. With every device I thought that this was the year that they would get things right but it never happened. I kept chasing after the latest and greatest Samsung device but I now I could only use a Samsung phone as a secondary device. The iPhone is as you say better overall. It has what I need in a daily driver.
