Trying to setup my new iPhone and it is stuck at restoring my iCloud backup at the time remaining: estimating part.
I turned it off and back on, disabled Find my IPhone on the old phone, but it is still hanging there. Been about 45 minutes or so now.
Just wondering if anyone else had this issue or if it is just that a lot of people are restoring their phones and the servers are just overloaded or something.
Thanks!

I was thinking like no way this will happen to me, then I looked at my phone and low and behold the the backup started loading. This is crazy lol. I made an account just to respond and maybe continue the good will.Trying to setup my new iPhone and it is stuck at restoring my iCloud backup at the time remaining: estimating part.

A) "iCould" and iTunes backups are quite different in nature, and iCloud backups generally seem cleaner and "safer" in terms of bugsI don't know which is funnier:
A) People backing up to iCould and then restoring back from the cloud
B) People that are saying this thread solved their iCloud restore problem
Both groups are a little nutty IYAM.![]()

B) You must be fun at parties
A) Nah, I don't care that much frankly. Google itA) I have never seen any evidence that iCloud backups were cleaner. Care to prove your claim?
B) No more than the next guy. But what's with the personal comment?
A) Nah, I don't care that much frankly. Google it
B) No more personal than calling people "nutty"
