    Hi guys,

Which screen looks better to you? (One phone has a SIM in it, the other doesn't) Brightness was the same on both. To me it looks like the one with SIM has a slightly nicer screen.

Well, thing is the one on the right is not the same phone in each shot, as I've changed the place while I was taking the photos. Best way to tell is by looking at the top to see which has network connection and which doesn't :) So I guess you're saying the one that has cell network connection is better?

I prefer the one without the SIM in the top shot, but the connected one in other shots...

So you like cooler phones then. I guess everyone has a different opinion. I used to be into cool phones, but over the last year my preferences have changed

Yeah, kinda strange that when I check the phones side by side whichever phone is on the right looks better and warmer. Doesn't matter which one it is. That's why I took the pictures as I thought my eyes had problems :)

Its probably because its focusing on one or the other. Try tapping to focus on the left one for one photo and the right one for another photo

Without the SIM looks better to me. The one with the SIM seems to have a yellow to blue colour temp shift left to right.

The SIM less phone doesn't have this so its screen is more uniform. The thing is, the screen looks a littler 'duller'.

Personally, uniform brightness and colour temps wins everyday for me and that's the SIMless phone.

Thats very true. I didn't notice the non uniform brightness. It might just be the picture though. OP try using a better camera with some more ambient light.

I usually prefer photos of cooler screens, but I prefer actually to use warmer screens.

I like the one with the cooler looking display. Thankfully both my iPhone 6 Plus and new 6S Plus have a cooler display. Although, my 6S Plus isn't as cool as my 6 Plus, so I think I prefer that look better.

Yep, SIM-less phone has a more uniform screen. That makes it 'better' in my book.

Good point about the uniformity. I didn't notice it at first.

Yeah they both look pretty good.

The one with the SIM doesn't have as good uniformity. The colour temperature on left hand side of the screen is different from the right. If you read a lot on your phone, that can be distracting.

Probably isn't an issue for a lot of people.

The SIM-less phone is better but it has a darker corner in the top right.

    You can't win.
