So, I was planning on upgrading to the 6s+ from the 6 simply because I wanted to make the move to the larger screen. Yet, it seems after reading many posts, that the screen is warmer and/or dimmer than the previous iteration of the iPhone 6. The screen on my iPhone 6 is bright and white which I prefer to the warmer/dimmer screens I have seen posted here. So, based upon what we know, is it accepted that the new iPhones simply have warmer/dimmer screens? Thank you.

I can't tell a difference between the screen of my 6s+ and the 6+ that I had.

It's beautiful and bright to me. No yellowing, no dimming, just pure crispy.

I do go full brightness on all my devices though.

I just saw a few videos of both generations side by side and the new panels do seem warmer. I'm just returning a moto X pure edition due to the warmer temperature to buy an iPhone 6S PLus ($600 more than the MXPE) JUST because I know iPhone screens are WHITE, WHITE, WHITE. And now it seems that apple is moving toward warm temperatures also.

Can someone post comparisons here? If they are indeed warmer, I might just buy a used Iphone 6 PLus. That screen is perfect.

It's really depends on the person if they like the warmer display. Doesn't bother me much unless it piss yellow.

As a professional designer and semi-professional photographer, I can tell you that on my 6 Plus and smaller 6s, the color temperature is almost exactly the same. It's good.

As for taking advantage of the extra space on the Plus—I wasn't impressed with that aspect of my Plus. I never used the extra keyboard buttons in landscape. I also hardly used the sidebar columns in landscape—mostly because many apps don't even support it. Even after a year and my massive library of apps I would be hard pressed to find one that supported it. Even in the app I redesigned for the newer phones I didn't build in landscape column support, lol, and I had the damn Plus myself. It's just not that useful on a phone. What was useful? Well you can see more content. Videos look a little better. Otherwise not worth it for me.

Just got this off the youtube Ram comparison: Clearly yellower. :(

6S screens seem to be yellow tinged, blotchy with darker areas predominantly along the top.
I bought 3 and all exhibit the issue.
