Last night, I plugged my phone in to charge. When I woke up, it had only charged about 20% (it would always charge to 100% without fail). I am charging it through my Mac at work right now and it's doing the same thing.

Dirty port on the cable/phone? bad cable? I'm using an Apple cable, FYI.

Have you tried cleaning out the port? Using a different cable? Perhaps restarting the device as well?

I did a restart, didn't work. The other 2 are my next steps I guess

pulled a huge ball of lint out of the lightning port. Problem solved :)

I turned the phone off and very gently scraped the inside of the port with a plastic toothpick. Again, use light contact. The lint came out right away.

The best and safest way is to buy a can of compressed air and blow a few short blasts into the charging port. If the lint sticks and can't be blown out, then you can use a toothpick as above.
