Someone must have mistaken Sony for Apple....

----------

It is possible that they're going to introduce a "low-cost" / 4" smaller iPhone 6c though. That would be much more interesting.

Lol. This is crazy! The 6/6 Plus are still selling well. Apple isn't dumb enough to rush out a new phone! There's absolutely ZERO need for the 6S right now. Even if the iPhone wasn't the best selling phone right now, we wouldn't need a 6S FIVE months later. Lol.

Unless they're going to drop the 5s and turn it into a C or something, I really can't see it being a whole new iPhone being released.

Then again though, think of all the sales they would make if they released a large screened phone with a flush camera, better build, more RAM and a way less buggy o/s...
I'd buy one!

I think you overestimate how many consumers have held off on buying a 6/6+ for any of those reasons.

Apple has nothing to gain by releasing another phone so soon. They only just caught up to demand for the 6/6+ last month. As with many rumours, this once can be debunked with common sense.

This. The camera being flush and RAM are forum problems. The average user does not care about these things, or has any idea how much RAM the phone has.

The average Joe Blow has zero clue or care about that stuff. The iPhone 6 line has sold how many since launch ? Tens of millions ? And record breaking profits for Apple.

Those three things are not hurting or stopping sales one bit.

Like how many people walk into an Apple Store and pick up a new iPhone 6 and think ah crap I can't buy this now, because it doesn't have a flush camera. LOL

They should be, well not the flush camera bit.

I could see a 4" iPhone 6 being released with the same design as the 5s.

And we can put this thread to bed. In the what 8 years Apple has been releasing iPhones. Not once did a new version come out sooner than a year or so. Let alone 2 new phones in one year LOL never ever.

Apple and iPhone releases are like clockwork almost. Expect the 6S line to be released this Fall, having 99% same exact design as the current 6, but with all new upgrade hardware and camera.

And not until the Summer or Fall of 2016, will we see the all new design iPhone 7 released.

Then wouldn't that be the uh, iPhone 5S again ? But like an SS version with better hardware.

I couldn't see Apple going backwards to a previous design, they want to keep it current, so a new 4" iPhone 6S would look like a smaller iPhone 6.

Would be upgraded components to match the 4.7", just the same 5s design. Besides from preferring that design, there's not been any sign Apple has been developing a 4" iPhone 6 with the new design, so the chances of a 4" phone at all are pretty slim.
