iPhone 6s UK 'Shipped'

So here in old Blighty its Wednesday 23rd and I still have the shipping status 'Preparing for Shipment' for my preorder of the iPhone 6s. Ordered at 8am on the day of release.

Seems a bit close for time now as anything ordered from Apple usually comes from the far east...

Anyone else from the UK have their orders marked as 'shipped'? If so who's the courier? Im hoping UPS. Last time it was UK Mail and they are rubbish.

UPS always turns up at my house at 9am for other packages which is ideal!
 
UK orders are almost always (5s was an exception) dispatched from within the UK, and since we have next day delivery options to virtually anywhere in the country the phone won't likely start moving until tomorrow in time for delivery on Friday.

Last year the 6 and 6 Plus launch day orders changed to 'Dispatched' the Wednesday before and emails were sent out late that night (I got mine at 8:44pm), so it might be the case that this year is similar and we'll get our dispatch emails later on tonight.

As for courier, Apple normally uses UPS, UK Mail and sometimes TNT. The courier you're assigned to is based on location I believe so it might be the case that you'll get UK Mail again I'm afraid. However UK Mail now give you 1 hour delivery slots and tell how how many delivery stops away you are which is handy.

Someone spoke to Apple via chat, and the courier choices are UPS, UK Mail and DPD. DPD are my favourite courier but ultimately I just hope I get which ever one will deliver earliest!

Usually depends on your area. I've lived in 2 parts of the UK - in one UPS have always delivered my pre-ordered iPhones and in the other it's always been UK Mail. There's probably more factors in it but if you've ever pre-ordered an iPhone before, it's not a bad assumption to go on that it will be the same courier as you've had before.
 
No one who ordered from Apple has shipped yet which means the launch is cancelled.

Seriously people. Chill the f out. You are not the magical one which apple has forgotten about.
 
Me too, though the wife's is by UPS.

Mine is a Space Grey 128GB 6S Plus, hers a 6S Rose Gold 64GB.
 
Just checked mine and it's showing as shipped. Delivers 25/9 by uk mail
iPhone 6S+ Silver 128gb
