After 1 year the battery life on my 6S is terrible, I have to charge it every day. I always looked after it, I only ever have 1 app open at a time and I limit things like background refresh, but certain apps drain the battery so fast I'm better off using them while on charge.

So I have some questions...

What can I do to improve the battery life? Can somebody share some reliable charge cases? Is it worth buying a replacement battery through apple?

For those who have had the 6S since it's release, what is your 6S battery life like?

I think a lot of people charge their 6s daily (if they use them a lot). What do you mean by "terrible"? How many hours of usage and standby do you get?

My 6s typically gets about 6 hours of usage + 25 hours of standby (so, actually, I don't charge mine daily). Safari is the most battery hungry app for me. If I don't use safari too much, I can get about 8 hours of usage + 30 hours of standby.

Doing fairly well.

Usually up at 5:30am and go to bed by 10pm to 2am. Phone is on charger at night when I go to sleep. Usually have around no less than 70% of battery when I go to bed.

Jailbroken too.

Oh! My 6s+ is 1 year, 1 month old.

Looking at coconutBattery now on my Macbook Air (with my iPhone 6s+ plugged in) - Battery is greater than ever. 99.3% capacity left after 87 charge cycles - I've owned this phone for 6 months as of 2 days ago.

Jealous of the above stats on a liberated iPhone! ^

To OP: If you have a Mac (or a friend's Mac), get coconutBattery (http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/) and plug your phone into your laptop and go to the iOS Device page. It'll tell you a ton of information and give you the health of your battery.

6s purchased in January...93% battery health, 1600/1715 mah. Does this look about right for a 10 months old phone?
