What's the obsession with the non-plugged Hey Siri? How hard is it to hold down the home button?

It's so unbelievably useful. I understand why you would think it's not useful, but Google Now's availability in this method is extremely useful.
Just wondering what everyone thinks
Apple's Siri loves recording everything you sayProbably not the best thing to do when driving though haha - or when phone is charging and away from your local vicinity, it helps
I actually never used Siri much before that, it can be quite handy.
As far as my wishes, I just want a powerful iphone that isn't running a buggy OS! More RAM will be much appreciated too.
And some new colour schemes.

Agreed. Thats one of the best things about Google now and Siri in this manner.
Such a quick way to get new directions when driving for example, without looking down and causing an accident...or at home to check the weather and simple things like how long it will take to go to X place or whatever.
Its surprisingly useful, I never used Siri at all until this.
Just so it is not thinner, I will be happy. They will have to come up with something good to get me to leave my 6+. We will see.
I also wish it'd not have a protruding camera :/. And wireless charging would be a nice addition.
I can just imagine someone shouting 'Hey Siri' on the train, and everyones Siri suddenly activating. Happened to me during Apple's media event last week anyway, as my phone was plugged in at the time!
Just "Hey Siri" for now (or occasionally, and usually unfortunately, things that somehow sound similar to it).Curious, I know you have to be tethered to use "Hey Siri" are you also forced to use just the one phrase? My Moto X 2014 allows you to make your own custom command which can used to do just about anything, untethered.
I know Apple can get get greedy but I can't believe they're going to make you buy a 6S just for what amounts to a software update.
I had same issue. Moto X default is "Ok Moto X" It seemed to chime in a lot to just "OK" I changed it to "Computer Please Assist" seems to have stopped that problem.Just "Hey Siri" for now (or occasionally, and usually unfortunately, things that somehow sound similar to it).
It's an S so that means same form factor.
- OLED (not too likely)
[*]Force Touch (almost for sure)- Always on 'Hey Siri' (very likely)
- USB type C (flip a coin)
- 2GB RAM (good chance)
- Optical Zoom (small chance)
But I just finished buying all the lightning cables for my house!![]()
