I dont Wish anything.... I am waiting to Iphone 7, there is no reason to upgrade if i have a 6+

Wireless charging would be nice.

But honestly, I'm hoping for more of an iOS update.. such as:

1. The ability to set default apps for mail, browser, etc.

2. More control with IFTTT app (e.g. control sound, etc).

3. Theme control

What's the obsession with the non-plugged Hey Siri? How hard is it to hold down the home button?

Probably not the best thing to do when driving though haha - or when phone is charging and away from your local vicinity, it helps

I actually never used Siri much before that, it can be quite handy.

As far as my wishes, I just want a powerful iphone that isn't running a buggy OS! More RAM will be much appreciated too.

And some new colour schemes.

----------

It's so unbelievably useful. I understand why you would think it's not useful, but Google Now's availability in this method is extremely useful.

Agreed. Thats one of the best things about Google now and Siri in this manner.

Such a quick way to get new directions when driving for example, without looking down and causing an accident...or at home to check the weather and simple things like how long it will take to go to X place or whatever.

Its surprisingly useful, I never used Siri at all until this.

Apple's Siri loves recording everything you say :)

32GB base option
more RAM
minor design tweaks
improved OS
improved camera
spec bump
better battery (though anything will be an improvement to my 3 and half year old 4S)

Bigger screen .i know that not really going to happen in this day and age but my eyes are not what they used be .i would like a 6.3" inch range screen of the Samsung mega 6.3"inch sized range .my kid has one and it nice to see the screen on it
3gb of ram

Siri finally getting the massive overhaul its needed since like 2013, better camera, 4k recording would be cool, the ability to switch between 720p, 1080p, and 4k (if 4k is added), a fix to the bending issue, an all black model, higher resolution would be cool but that will hopefully come atleast next year for iPhone 7, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, more customizations in iOS 9, getting rid of the stupid "you can't download this app because it's bigger than 100mb, please connect to wifi" rule, and of course more RAM. 3gbs would be ideal but 2 would definitely be a step in the right direction. Anything is better than 1.

I hope it gets 2 gb ram and 4k camera.

A 1080 screen on the 6 would be good but I don't see it til the 7. I know some want a 4k screen but honestly I think it's kinda overkill for a 5 inch device.

I'd like wireless charging if done right. U could do away with the hp jack like Apple is rumored, using either the Lightning or usb c for audio. Could go thinner ( I see this as a possible iPhone 7)

And of course base 32 gb

A Galaxy S6 like camera: more MP front and back, and the low-light quality of this camera.

2 GB RAM

Bring back 32 GB and make it the most basic model

If the current 6 series is one of my LEAST favorite rear designs...

- Make the phone thicker to add more battery capacity which could also eliminate the camera hump. Going back to 8-9mm is fine.

- Make the antenna strips look better. Perhaps change color to black or make it thinner. It still looks worse than the HTC One M7.

^^ Of course, most iPhones will get covered up anyway. So it's needed upgrades is double the RAM and perhaps make the phone thicker to make it roomier for a bigger battery pack while eliminating the camera hump. Going faster at efficient 14nm with the A9 may not necessarily keep the battery to go longer with nearly the same mAh capacity. I don't want Apple to reach a stalemate like Samsung did with the S6 or go much worse like HTC did with the the M9.

The iPhone 6 Plus is currently one of the closest iPhones in terms of perfection achieving it with the biggest and sharpest display and longest battery life ever tested. Except for the obvious large SIZE for "some" people which is generally their biggest issue, it is plagued with only 1 GB RAM which were found in 2011 Android flagships and the same amount from the 2012 iPhone 5. That was one of the big speculations last year that it would get 2 GB and it didn't. Trust me, iOS is getting more resource hungry the more apps gets updated and more features Apple throws in it.

If the 6s/6s+ do get double the RAM, it will be like the iPhone 4s getting dual core. It will simply age better than the current series. Apple wasn't really forward thinking with features. All about the $$. So love and enjoy your 6/6+ NOW, but don't get too attached. Sell it for the 6s/6s+ when they get released. You don't want to stuck with the weaker twin in the longer run if you love that form factor.

I'll be sitting out the 6S, as I still love my 6 and am on contract til the 7 comes out. For whatever reason the 6 is the first iPhone I truly have loved, and I've had the 3G, 4S, and 5 prior. I loved my 4S (especially compared to my shattered screen barely functioning 3G by the time I got my launch day 4S), but for some reason I REALLY love my 6.

That said, I want the 6S to have 2 GB of RAM and I'd like to see a DPI bump beyond the iPhone 4 326 ppi. I'd also like to see new screen tech besides LCD, but I highly doubt that would happen until iPhone 7.

As for the 7, I'd like to see a return to a glass back a la 4/4S, 5 mm thick (like the iPod touch 5G), better screen tech/DPI, better battery life, 2 GB RAM, A10, and better cameras, front and rear. The screen is in serious need of an update though, both in technology type and pixel density.

Just so it is not thinner, I will be happy. They will have to come up with something good to get me to leave my 6+. We will see.

Agreed, instead of making it thinner, keep increasing battery performance.

Other than that, I would like to see water resistance.

I also wish it'd not have a protruding camera :/. And wireless charging would be a nice addition.

I can just imagine someone shouting 'Hey Siri' on the train, and everyones Siri suddenly activating :p. Happened to me during Apple's media event last week anyway, as my phone was plugged in at the time!

Curious, I know you have to be tethered to use "Hey Siri" are you also forced to use just the one phrase? My Moto X 2014 allows you to make your own custom command which can used to do just about anything, untethered.

I know Apple can get get greedy but I can't believe they're going to make you buy a 6S just for what amounts to a software update.

Just "Hey Siri" for now (or occasionally, and usually unfortunately, things that somehow sound similar to it).

I had same issue. Moto X default is "Ok Moto X" It seemed to chime in a lot to just "OK" I changed it to "Computer Please Assist" seems to have stopped that problem. :)

It's an S so that means same form factor.;)

  • OLED (not too likely)
    [*]Force Touch (almost for sure)
  • Always on 'Hey Siri' (very likely)
  • USB type C (flip a coin)
  • 2GB RAM (good chance)
  • Optical Zoom (small chance)

Force Touch implies an OLED display. ;)

For me, I'm hoping for a better display resolution than on the iPhone 6 but probably won't happen before iPhone 7.

But I just finished buying all the lightning cables for my house!

so u done stupid thing as apple will be switching to USB 3.1 flippable port connector same lik eon macbook 12' ..

It is only tour delusion / illusion u have some ''lightnings'' ''storms'' or some kind of ''thunderbolds'' god know what else .. ALL of them is JUST USB in reality .. what is your other end ? of cable ehm ? ;)
