I just bought a iPhone 6s from Boost Mobile and the sim is not recognized. My carrier is with Boost Mobile. Everything works on the phone but not reading sim. What methods could I use to diagnose my iPhone 6s. I have phone replacement order to replace the iPhone 6s with another one. Hopefully that works.

Basic troubleshooting:
Does the SIM worth in another phone?
Does a different SIM work in your phone?

If yes to the first, points to the phone
If the second, points to the SIM

Either way, they're both from Boost, so trot into a store

You need to call Boost and tell them you changed your phone. This is an ESN swap. They will want the serial number of your new SIM and the ESN of the phone.

Boost uses the Sprint network so this is necessary every time you swap phones. Additionally, you may not have the correct SIM card so I'd make sure on that too. Boost (Sprint) has a multitude of SIM cards and you can't just swap SIMs from one device to another like on other carriers.

yeah there is a iPhone shop down the street from my house Ill take it there and have him diagnose the phone.

Did you ever actually contact Boost to see if there was a problem with the sim or if you needed a new one for a new phone? That should have been your first stop.....

I had to buy a Best Buy compatible sim kit for boost mobile. I got it to work. For $35 a month I get unlimited text, talk, and 6GB Data Plan. I think its a great plan.
