iPhone 7+ 128gb wont update???

Hi guys, trying to update to 10.2 but its stuck on the "backing up Bens iPhone" at the same point for like EVER?

Is this normal, should I just leave it??

It is but very VERY slowly. Is this normal?????

In this time since the first post its not even ¼ of the way across?

Is this the first time you've backed up this phone? Sometimes the first backup is very slow.

In any event, as long as progress is occurring, no matter how slowly, it's a bad idea to kill the task.

Half way now! This might be the first time this phone has been backed up, I can't recall tbh.

I'll have too kill it as its been going for 5 hours or so and I'll be leaving the office soon!

Five hours? That's crazy! Something is definitely wrong.

Half an hour is the longest a backup has ever taken me - and that was for a never backed-up, almost full 64GB iPad.

Unplugged it from the laptop and iTunes and did it from the phone. Done in less than 10 minutes?

No idea what was going on
