I've had some comments when using my phone that my voice sounds muffled. I seem to recall Apple having some tech in there that is supposed to improve the quality of the call.

Is there a way I can test to see if this is some software issue or a problem with the physical voice mic itself besides getting Apple to check it? Is there a known issue with these that I should try following up on?

I'm hesitant to take it in because they will undoubtedly just exchange it for a refurb unit and I'll have to re-sync my Apple Watches and I'll lose all my workout history again. (Another related question that probably belongs in another forum would be "is there a way to back-up and restore workout data?)

If you make "ENCRYPTED" back ups via iTunes you will never loose your health data.

As far as sound quality, might need to have Apple take a look
