iPhone 7+ 27-29 September Apple.com thread

I'm coming up on the 24 hour mark since Preparing for Shipment. Starting to wonder if the move was just to halt the status inquiries so they can focus on launch day complaints lol.
 
I seem to remember reading a lot of people who were in the "preparing for shipment" phase for days in the launch day group. I wouldn't worry about too much honestly.

I understand the pain.. My sister just picked her order up from the Apple store :rolleyes: it's okay.. She got the 7 in rose gold, and honestly I'm glad I'm waiting for 7+ in matte black.

Yep that's what hers is a 7 in rose gold. My card was charged yesterday and preparing for a 32gb matte.
 
Was just at the Apple Store to check them out. The matte black looks so good. It is super black. Not gray at all.

I don't think their fulfillment system allows it to work like that.
 
At this point I'd wish Apple would just say, "you're definitely not getting your phone until September 27 or 29.. stop refreshing." What is the point of a preorder?

I placed 2 pre-orders 1 for iPhone 128 matte black and 1 about 30 mins later for an apple watch. Both orders went to preparing for shipping last night. The apple watch has shipped for delivery on Tuesday. No movement on the iPhone. I see a bunch of reference numbers (6 to be exact) when I track my watch and only 1 is the order number. is it possible my iPhone is in the same package and the serial number listed as a reference number? What do iPhone 7 serial numbers look like?
 
Mine shipped and is currently enroute to Louisville from anchorage. They are saying a Monday delivery. My wife's was supposed to be here today but got delayed. Really hoping ups puts them on the same flight to Phoenix and we get them both tomorrow.

Mine is the 256gb 7 plus silver and hers is the rose gold.

I had an estimated delivery date of 26-28 September and then about 2 days ago it changed to preparing for shipment. It's a 7 128GB Silver. So I tracked it through UPS and today I saw that it was going to depart from Shanghai today at 6:50 and had a delivery date for Monday. But now the tracking page says it's being held at the warehouse with no delivery date (see screenshot). I'm so confused.. Does anybody know why this is?
