iPhone 7+ 27-29 September Apple.com thread

In China they are celebrating Mid Autumn Festival, but I highly doubt that Foxconn will close their assembly plants for this festivities, Apple wont allow it. If they did ceased operations for the holidays, they should resume operations sometime tonight, since it started on Thursday.(They celebrate for 3 days)

Now I'm also on the PFS phase, with no Support Profile Serial nor UPS Reference tracking. Hopefully we'll see some movement soon.
 
LMAO someone from October shipment dates got theirs shipped and to be delivered on Tuesday with the same config as mine (black 128gb) SO PISSED. fu Apple seriously.

I think there's a total of 3 people out of hundreds of us (October batch) that were able to track their phone via UPS reference, though no phone on support profile. I always thought they would show up in support profile first before becoming trackable.

so beyond frustrating. I've been stuck in PFS for 56 hours now.

When I actually went and read those it sounded like what they found on ups wasn't their order

A buddy of mine ordered from Verizon directly and was given an October date and his is showing up Monday
 
Omg I'm still in preparing and people with October dates are getting tracking info. F***in BS! After i get my phone I'm complaining so much to Apple

When I enter my order number without the last two digits, I find a shipment that is being delivered Tuesday...but to Independence, Kentucky. I'm in California.

I think I'm just annoyed that my hopes were up Wed night to see preparing for shipment with the thought of possible launch day delivery. Now that's come and gone, but hearing people have delivery dates for Monday and Tuesday, while I see PFS on my account...:mad: Honestly, rather they keep me in Processing, than getting my hopes up for an earlier than sheduled delivery.

After it changes to shipping it doesn't take all that long to get to you. I'm assuming you were also in the 27-29 window and so I would still expect you to get your order by that range at the very latest.

Mine didn't show up in support file until after apple let me know order has shipped. I checked immediately and it wasn't there until a short time later.
Reference used by UPS:
  • Phone number in support file under main number
  • Order number with W, but not last 2 numbers
  • And then other numbers I'm not sure about as they are long and not my serial number.

No UPS flights are scheduled out of ZhengZhou in the next 2 days? They are scheduled out of Hong Kong and Inchenon.
 
Im still PFS on my 32GB model. Its annoying because this isnt an entirely new phone or process for Apple. Its the same damn phone (iPhone 6/6s) with slightly different look. Not sure what the hold up was. Maybe the Note 7 failing caused them to sit on their laurels and scale back. I ordered at max 2 minutes after the stupid store went online and was already behind and not a day one owner. Never had this issue in the past.

It is not the same phone. Has a completely different layout inside the shell.

Yes but no additional tooling needed to happen. Its not as a radical design as say the iPhone 5 to the 6 where EVERYTHING required new tooling. Apple is simply being super conservative in its production.
 
Come on phones in ZhengZhou get to Inchenon as UPS 64 is landing soon. Tomorrow this will turn into UPS 99 headed for Anchorage. If my phone could get there it might knock a day off delivery. Haven't tracked flights in a while. Glad I get to this year even if it takes an extra day or two.

How are you figuring out flights? Any links I can use to see my phone /watch movement?

Flightaware is excellent for tracking flights of all types. Found it using it for iPhones, but now use it to track family members planes when they come to visit and track when flights are really going to get some place.

I even geeked out last year and listened (on a different website) to my wife's phone land in Louisville. Tower to plane. "UPS 99 Heavy"
 
October thread is making fun of the 27-29 group. Hell yea....We better see movement first! Hahaha
