Well, my order via Apple for ATT black matte 256GB Plus, was just auto cancelled. Thanks. AT&T you POS, even though there was nothing wrong with my account.

Any clue as to why AT&T would do that?? I was afraid of this happening to my account, since there was a mixup with the phone lines!!!

Did you, by chance, make two preorders on the same line on 9/9, and attempt to cancel the first one you did?

Only reason I can imagine they'd do that. That would cause them to think you weren't eligible for upgrade.
 
Tempers are getting short in here. I'm getting a little irritated my phone seems lost wherever it is is zhengzhous!(sp)
 
This is the same thing that happened during the Watch release last year. I don't think it updated until it was atleast in Kentucky or like 1 or 2 destinations from delivery. Have faith you guys. Mine hasn't updated since yesterday morning either.

The Mrs. ordered her 256GB Plus in Matte Black right away on pre order. Got a shipment date of Sept 27th to the 29th originally. 2 days ago it shipped and the delivery date is now for tomorrow, Sept 20th.

It's still the 19th. People in here should have expected delivery dates between the 27-29th so considering all of the differences in the skus and order times, I don't think anyone should get bent out of shape just yet.

Damn! Please keep us in the loop on what happens here. I will so pissed if Apple cancels my order because of ATT's screw up. I wonder if everyone here that is still in PFS has ATT.

that does suck! Especially considering the energy and time taken to get this far, the least they could have done was try to contact you to resolve the issue before cancelling! Now you have to jump at the end of the queue, if you reorder??

Thanks. And of course, the "support" at AT&T have no clue how to handle this. Big shocker, I know.

So, F it. I'll just watch the stock and if I see one... There already was one available earlier today in Michigan. But I didn't feel like driving 250 miles, from Buffalo, through Canada, into Michigan to get a phone. I would probably be detained at the border for being too stupid to be let into Canada.

I was extremely nervous the last couple of days.. really my fault. I purchased 7 from AT&T to try it out, was about to keep it an cancel the 7+, but decided I needed a better camera... I returned the 7 for a refund, but noticed my AT&T account now shows I am past due for the refunded amount, which will not balance out until the end of the week, when the device is back in their inventory! I was livid!! thought this would impact me before the phone shipped! Really it's AT&T screwy inventory management system! But, I should have known better and not picked up the additional phone!

From what I've read from past years, sometimes yes, sometimes no. But considering how constrained they are this year, I doubt I would have much chance to keep my place.

No. The first attempt to pay "failed", but said to wait for the payment to be accepted and I did - and it was, about 17 minutes after pre-order start, I got a confirmation email. Bill's paid, phone number available for full upgrade, excellent credit. An AT&T f-up.

Ah ok. That makes me feel a little better. Wondering why im still PFS still and people with the same model I ordered with later dates are getting their shipment notices. Maybe there is a manual check on some orders that are delaying them. Either way I am chatting with Apple to see is something is wrong with my order. Thanks for the update!

Unfortunately, for me, I was in PFS too (I thought once you got to that stage, everything is already squared up, but it doesn't look like it). But AT&T killed it for some reason - the cancellation came from their end, not Apple's end).

Yikes that's awful. I'm so sorry man. If you haven't called Apple support yet I'd do that. They likely won't be able to get you a phone on your delivery date, but you'll be able to get a freebie of some sort out of it.
 
this has been a major rollercoaster ride! I will chuck this into the bucket, like standing in line for 6 hours for a @#%ing iPad... I will not be putting myself through this again, just to be the first!!
 
well now my ups tracking has flipped back to tuesday delivery.

the only time i've seen the tracking info not update is when i would get overnight from fedex and that was almost never updated until it was out for delivery, can't say i've ever seen ups do it. (also the fedex stuff was for domestic stuff only)
 
I held it via ups my choice so I can't see the tracking anymore surprised they haven't fixed that yet

I changed my delivery address and I also cannot see an expected delivery or a status update. It is still stuck in China.

We are in the same situation. I too have a scan at 8:31, no movement whatsoever since then.
