Same phone here. I'm in Dallas, and I'm hoping this is the case.I live in Texas (right outside of Austin) and I haven't heard anything at all after "preparing for shipment" appeared. Since the phones are coming out of Dallas, is it possible that it just won't send until really late today since I am so close? 7 Plus 128 GB in matte black. Estimated Sept. 23-30.

When I try check by order number, it says put in your order number then the billing zip code. I've tried the order number "space" zip code, said information not valid. Tried order number and zip, no space, same thing. Tried order number then on the next line the zip, same error. WTF? It's a 21- order number like most all ATT orders. Anyone else run into this? I don't trust the check by number.

Amen. Everyone was being so relaxed in here, saying AT&T always gives later dates and then comes through. Well, not this year.

ATT is gone mad bruhHey guys, I just pre-ordered my Iphone 7 Black 256GB from at&t yesterday evening and just got my tracking number 20 minutes ago from fedex. It'll be coming in tomorrow by 3 p.m. What's weird is that I also ordered a 7 Rose Gold for my wife on the 10th and it now says backordered when it said preparing for shipment the day I ordered it.
I wish they'd send this out to all of us waiting for something they don't even have in stock instead of keeping us all in the dark hoping for something that has zero chance of happening. May I ask which model you ordered (has to be a big storage Plus model, right?). What a terrible way to do things. "Hi Dennis - there has been some inventory constraints on several devices from Apple and as such there are some shipments that will not go out until Monday at the earliest. We are continuing to receive shipments daily, but at this time it does not look like we received the inventory needed to fill your shipment for tomorrow. I show that it should be going out on Monday next day to you."
I've been an Apple fanboy since using a Mac SE in art class high school in 1987 - this is a stupid thing to be pissed about, but I am nonetheless. First time I won't have the new iPhone on launch day because I switched to T-Mobile this year.![]()
