So Cal here...got the text about my iPhone 7+ (matte black, 128 GB) shipping at 11am PST, but text to *0737# still said processing and website said preparing to ship. Checked just now (4:55pm PST) and it says backordered. w00t.

Ordered 9/9 12:01am PST, and dates had always shown 9/23-9/30

My wife has been rubbing it in my face that she has her Rose Gold 7+....in a very loving way of course.

I have the almost identical order lol. SoCal, 7+Black128GB, ordered at 12:06PST and original dates listed as 9/23-9/30
But I never received the spam text, nor did *6737# change to back ordered...still waiting

This. I completely feel your pain. Same scenario here.

That's what I get for ordering her phone first ....thinking I was being the nice husband...she didn't even remember she was getting a new phone until I told her "your phone is coming today (launch day)....mine isn't". She said "What phone? Do I need one?"

I've joined the club! My MB 128+ is officially on its way to NC! No shipping info on FedEx yet. Ordered at 2:50 am ET on 9/9 with shipping estimate of 9/23-9/30. Status went to back ordered around 2:30 ET today and got the shipping confirmation with tracking number about 5 minutes ago. FINALLY!

UPDATE: Shipping standard overnight from Fort Worth and will arrive tomorrow by 3 pm!

Guys I've been on backorder for over a day I ordered an IP7+, matte black, 128GB and I've seen so many of those ship in hopeful yet worried at the same time. Also I'm an hour east of Houston

Went to backorder today at 2:30 pm. Just shipped via FedEx to Chicago.

So many people in the 9/23 to 9/30 shipping window. I got up at 4:30 AM and placed my order and got put in the 9/30 to 10/7 one. I really should have set my alarm earlier but you know....work and all.

Congrats peeps on getting your shipping notices. I hope and pray I'll live to see the day I finally get mine.
