Has anyone been all of a sudden unable to check their order status using the 866 number? Instead of the automated lady's voice saying my order has been received, it automatically connects me to a CS rep, who can only tell me they're also unable to check and "something is being updated". Told me to call back in about an hour.

I never tried the 866 number. However, *6737# failed multiple times last night around midnight or so and my status changed to backordered today.
 
okay, you just got my heart to start beating... I ordered exact same phone on 9/24, original date of 11/4-11/11. Little over a week apart from you... 1-2 weeks more and light should shed...

same!! i ordered the exact same phone as the both of you but on 9/23 and got the same shipping dates of 11/4-11/11. fingers crossed that it ships earlier!!!!

Same thing as I, it failed last night but no change in status for me
 
Hoping everyone sees some progress today. UPS says delivery tomorrow finally. 9/16 mb 128 7+. Wishing everyone a happy spot soon.

Well you guys, my final order was finally delivered. Best Buy finally came through. For those interested, I will post a timeline of events below. It feels good to vent all my frustrations to people who understand. Lol.

(9/27) Noticed online store quoting 1 business day delivery, called Customer Service. They could not figure out why new orders were going out before pre-orders. "Modified" my order and credit card charged
Est Delivery changed to 10/3
(9/30) Text message from Best Buy saying my mobile account was missing info (passcode and ssn). Called and provided it AGAIN. Quoted 24-48 hour turnaround to have issue fixed
(10/3) 3 days later, no word from Best Buy. Called customer service, they offered to cancel my order and restart it. Demanded a supervisor and asked what was happening, was told my phone would be going out today as it had been fixed and was waiting for me to call in to confirm, even though I did that multiple times.
SHIPPED 10/4 FINALLY (UPS) for delivery on 10/5
10/5 Delay UPS texts me saying they mis sorted my package and would delay it by one day
DELIVERED 10/6


Sorry for the long post. But my nightmare has finally ended!
 
I don't think it matters where you ordered. I ordered 9/16 online thru Apple, 2- 4.7 Jet Black 128 gb with AT&T next. Still processing- no progress. If it wasn't for the $650 promo I would cancel. There's plenty In Stock and available for pickup at the Apple stores around me.

i ordered MB 7+ 128gb on 9/23 and if it weren't for the $650 promo I would cancel as well.
2 years ago when 6 plus came out, i initially ordered from AT&T the day after it was released in stores, and then a few days later i canceled the order from AT&T and ordered it from apple instead and it arrived sooner than it would have shipped had i kept the AT&T order

Congratulations! I'm starting to realize that there is a much smaller demand for our model, the 256gb. Hopefully they're catching up with it?

Quick question... The night before I received ATT text notification about one of my phones shipping(9/30), I got a apple id sign-on notification from china. I thought it was strange, but kind of forgot about it. I just received that same apple id sign-on notification from china. I have 2 phones still waiting to ship. Has this happened to anyone? Or have I maybe been hacked? :(
 
Off subject, but did anyone notice that with the new iOS update, there is now a 'wifi boost' option that is on? It drained our internet gigs in 5 days. Thankfully I figured it out and switched it off before we used up our rollover as well.
