Yeah, the status seems a little strange to me too. I ordered yesterday (in an at&t store - a replacement for a Galaxy Note 7) a JB 126 7+. Estimated ship dates are between 12/19-12/27 (yes, December!), and the status already says 'Preparing to ship'.

Just got a email from att. Expected delivery 11/18/2016 to 11/28/2016. Hope it comes before that

I preordered mine in Sept it said It wouldnt ship till oct 21-28, I received it today. 7+ 128gn MB.

Well, still waiting as well. MB 7+ 128g ordered 9/17 at 8:22PM ET. Called in to see if I could submit an expedite request since the only time I'll be at the shipping address soon is this coming weekend (live about 7 hours away, didn't trust my package to come to my current address). But I guess it takes up to 72 hours to even process the escalation request, so it's up to luck now if I hit backorder status in the next few days.

Seems like there hasn't been movement in a week.
I've been following on this particular spec because its the same one i ordered. seems like its started to fill for orders placed up to
same here. I ordered mine on the 24th, thinking that I was going to recieve before my trip to Korea. Im going to be gone for few weeks starting 15th and there are noone to accept the package... I could ask my friend to go pick the package up but the reality is that I WANT MY FONE for the trip!!! I called ths CSR and explained the situatuon and only solution they suggested is to have my friend or family pick and hold for me?!$&@?$&
I honestly think we'll see movement next week for our JB+ 128GB. Hope I'm wrong.
I'm really hoping us that ordered 9/9 JB+ 128gb will see some movement tomorrow. I haven't seen any movement today on any of the forms for this config.

Just wanted to chime in. I have been following this thread for weeks watching everyone get their iPhones. After being on the "preparing to ship" since I ordered on 9/16 and order being processed on 9/17, my iphone7 jb 128GB is now back ordered. Hoping to get a shipment email soon.
Lucky! Mine is being delivered by USPS and has been sitting within an hour drive for the last two days because they are closed. Delivery is set for today though.
