I just recently upgraded from the 6s to the 7 Plus this week.

I love the fact that the 7 Plus has such a larger battery but it seems like it's taking forever to charge. I've never timed it officially but I'd estimate my 6s would charge to full in about an hour and a half. My 7 Plus is taking that long just to get close to 50%. Taking a little over 3 hours to get to full.

Is this normal? I've owned every iPhone since the 3GS and have never experienced charging speeds this slow.

6S battery size is 1715 mAh compared to 7 Plus 2900 mAh so at the same charge rate it would take 1.7x longer. Sounds normal.

This will probably take some getting used to for me....coming from a note that has fast charge.
