Meh, that's around the same net price as last year ($969 - $650 trade in credit for 6/6+ = $319).ATT is only giving a BOGO if you get Direct TV and no other deals. It's pretty bad considering other carriers are having great deals right now. They shouldn't lump everything into Direct TV or nothing.
I saw T-MOBILE offering 7+ JB 256gb for $600 and then a $300 trade in credit for 6/6+ on 24 mo jump on top of that. That's a 7+ 256gb for $300
But this is not a BOGO dealMeh, that's around the same net price as last year ($969 - $650 trade in credit for 6/6+ = $319).
Last year was not BOGO either (although it a limited time promo that ended 9/30, iirc). I'll say it again, this year's deals suck. But this is not a BOGO deal
Just got back from the ATT store. Absolutely no deals!!! It does suck!Last year was not BOGO either (although it a limited time promo that ended 9/30, iirc). I'll say it again, this year's deals suck.
I hadn't actually been planning on upgrading last year. Deal was too good to pass up though. Since it was essentially a free upgrade after trade in, I figured I'll just pay in full this year if I happen to like what I see in the keynote.looking back now, I wish I took advantage of the deal last year given the deals this year.
The only reason AT&T and Verizon offered those deals last year was because they were losing customers to T-Mobile. They copied what T-Mo was doing to stem the bleed. That $650 trade in credit last year eats a little bit into their bottom line.I’m hoping for some good deals come Black Friday at this point. I assumed AT&T would be trying to push the 8’s with the X being the big iPhone this year and boy was I wrong

Unfortunately, no sweetheart deals from T-Mo this year so no sweetheart deals from AT&T and Verizon either.
They have but none quite as good. Last year was essentially an almost free upgrade in exchange for a 2 year "contract".they've had deals on new iphones going back many years
