So my wife has a Rose Gold 128 GB iPhone 7 and I have a Matte Black 128 GB iPhone 7 Plus. I was curious of how the regular 7 compared to the 7 Plus so today we tested them. Below are the results at the time of plugging them in tonight.

iPhone 7 Results:

Usage - 8 hr 45 min
Standby - 16 hr 34 min
Battery Percent - 6%

iPhone 7 Plus Results:

Usage - 9 hr 9 min
Standby - 16 hr 22 min
Battery Percent - 15%

I figure she could have got past 9 hours and I could have got past 10-11 hours. Her phone is running iOS 10.0.2 and I am running iOS 10.1 Beta. I suspect I MAY get a little bit better battery life when 10.1 is fully finished and released but we will see.

NOTE: We are both heavy phone users and very active on social media, streaming, phone calls, etc.

I'm really surprised with how good the battery on my iPhone 7 is. Better than my 6+ for sure but maybe that's because this is a new phone and my 6+ was 2 years old?

I agree. It is a definite surprise and very nice to see!

Removing the 3.5 Jack may have been inconvenient for most, but it opened room for the improved battery life. At least two hours worth for both the 7 and 7 Plus. I have both models and I too have seen an increase.

i really like this tópico and of course i had both iphone 7 with smart battery case and 7 plus.
Eventi without using smart battery i esa feeling the 7 battery good as 7 plus, with the disconvenience of cant charge 7plus in mobilità (there isn't any smart battery for iphone 7plus).

i really like bigger display and camera, but portability it's the priority for me
