I have an iPhone 7 with apple battery case today In the morning I go to plug it to the charger it did not read the cable I thought in my mind it's the wall brick I go get another one no luck I go unplug the cord and try the other side of the cable and it worked then I unplug and test the side that was not working then it work also what are your recommendation I do at this point ?

Try a different cord. It may be the cord may be defective.
What I did is unplug the cord and charged it with a different side of the cord and it's working now

turn the phone off and back on? you never know

or you could take it to the apple store, it's still under warranty
Done that and it's working now thanks no need for Apple care yet

Mines explained in more details it only happened once

Not sure how you explained yours in more detail than mine. I said its happening across 4 devices and using over a dozen lightning cables. So my instance was more thorough and I went through more testing because I was able to determine its not a cable issue and not a device issue, which leave iOS issue. Yours could be device, cable, case or software issue. Yours cannot be narrowed down unless you have multiple devices that you can test, with the battery case as well.

You have the 2 year applecare plus?
That helps cause it can really run down the battery life and it ended up not holding charge much and gave me bad signal issues too.
Yes

You have to narrow it down. You need another iPhone 7 and a few more cables. If the issue continues, then you can narrow it down to the case or iOS. Then the next step is to replace the case. If the issue then continues, then you know its iOS.

I have 8 authentic apple cables I can try that if it happens again

If it happens with those 8 cables, then its either the case, iPhone or iOS. So that will only narrow down one of the 4 possibilities.
I only tried with the same cord that had the issue but it working now if it happening again I will try another cable
