Considering how impressive the drop tests were for this new iPhone, particularly one where a 7 is dropped repeatedly including from ten feet with barely a mark, it seems like it'd be more advisable to go case-less.

So, has anybody dropped their 7 and damaged it yet? Based on what I've seen it's either nobody or maybe a few people, which is better than other launches.

I go caseless and have never dropped
My iPhone. My question would be with these tests conducted, is with the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and or both? I'm assuming the iPhone 7 Plus would not be as susceptible to drops as the iPhone 7 would be.

i have a small crack in upper left mostly on bezel area. its tiny but driving me crazy. will replace screen when i have time. It was a short drop too on to pavement. I had a screen protector on, and the screen protecter didn't shatter. Strange

Dropped my 7+ on the kitchen floor this morning, small crack in the upper right hand corner above the screen...

Woops.
Pictures??? Or did not happen
[doublepost=1476360117][/doublepost]Never ever cracked the screen or scratch on phone, always use spigen armor series cases and glass screen protectors, well worth the money for long term safety

I've always had cases on my iPhones and this has "saved the day" many times. I know it is a shame to cover up the iPhone, but I guess I'm just too clumsy. A month a ago I was heading into a brewpub and my iPhone 7 snagged on my pocket as I took it out. It bounced on the sidewalk at least twice. The Tech21 case saved the iPhone, I also have a screen protector on it. So, yes my X is going to have a case. No, I don't work or sell Tech21, just a consumer.

Same here. I can't imagine why anyone would carry around a $1100 device without a case. I guess some people are so rich they can just buy another iPhone like it's nothing.
