Brand new iPhone 7 Plus (AT&T). When making a phone call using the lightning ear pods, the microphone does not work. Anyone else see this issue?

On the same phone, my old ear pods work with the 3.5mm to lightning adapter.

I read yesterday about an issue that Apple has acknowledged where the "multifunction remote control to intermittently stop functioning". And they are working on a fix.

I have not noticed the MFR remote not working, but I am wondering (hoping) this is the same issue.

You can probably try updating to iOS 10.0.2 that was just released: Apple Releases iOS 10.0.2 With Fixes for Headphone, Photos, and App Extension Bugs

Thanks. It's funny that Apple just released 10.0.2 with the possible fix. I just installed the 10.1 public beta last night, and I didn't think to test it. Seems to be working now. I will report back if this doesn't fix it.
