My wife's iPhone 7 seems to keep making unwanted random FaceTime calls. I haven't really played with it at all but is this some feature in iOS 10 or 7 feature that is too sensitive or she is accidentally activating?

It's probably something she's accidentally activating. I don't know how, but that seems much more likely to me than an iPhone just randomly calling people.

This is happening to my wife's iPhone 7. I've personally witnessed it FaceTime random people in her contact list while sitting untouched on the dining room table. It's happening multiple times each day.

My iPhone 7+ has made random calls while I was actually talking to someone else. This happened last week and again today. I have a folio case on the phone. The case was closed both times. One time it was in my hand (I was using my bluetooth headset). The next time it was sitting on the table while using my bluetooth. It called different people each time. People that I have numbers for, but, have never called. These were not FaceTime calls, though. Strange.
