Whats an "iPhone Pro"? Sounds made up.
Just have to give my opinion.
The haptic feedback is the stupidest thing ever !!
I don't need to feel that sensation that my phone is unlocked this is a battery waster !
iphone being returned today waiting for the iPhone Pro in 2017.
So then....its made up? Gotcha.Nobody knows what it'll be called, but latest rumors suggest that this new iPhone planned for 2017, with a glass body and a virtual home button within the edge-to-edge OLED display, may be sold alongside upgraded 7s and 7s Plus models.
So then....its made up? Gotcha.
the switch from the 6S (or Plus) is a complete waste of money
I'm also with Eric's comment - it's not worth upgrading from the 6s(+).

2x camera has OIS? I thought it hasn't.C) OIS on camera is much better for taking Photos with my shaky hands, especially in 2X telephoto mode.
It doesn't, unfortunately. There's a massive difference between the two, which is clearly visible when you switch - the longer lens doesn't have OIS (and it's the one that needs it most, haha) ...2x camera has OIS? I thought it hasn't.
1. I like the haptic feel of the new Home "Button". It eliminates a mechanical part that may fail.
I like it too BUT this statement isn't true. Yes the mechanical button has been eliminated BUT it added a mechanical haptic motor so it still has just as many mechanical things that can fail.
IMO the iPhone 7 upgrade makes sense if you have a 6 or less, but making the switch from the 6S (or Plus) is a complete waste of money as all you're really getting is no more headphone jack, no more click on the home button and a processor that's barely faster and not noticeable to the human eye.
I don't understand why people are upset by the haptic "button". I can't even remember how the button on my old 6+ felt, and I'm fine with the feel of the new on my 7+. It's a good improvement IMO - eliminates a couple of points of failure.

The name may be made up, but not the rumors (i.e., some member's pipe dream). They're based on actual rumors.
Apple to Eliminate Home Button in 2017 iPhone
2017 iPhone Will Include Edge-to-Edge Display With 'Virtual Button' Built Into Screen
If real photography is the goal then I would recommend a real camera, even a decent point and shoot with true bokeh effect will give better results than software based imitations. Seems hard to justify that kind of money for an iPhone if that's the goal.Unless you are into photography...
Sure, a decent camera can take better pictures, but I have my phone with me at all times ... I'll love the fact that Apple improves the iPhone's camera every year!If real photography is the goal then I would recommend a real camera, even a decent point and shoot with true bokeh effect will give better results than software based imitations. Apple force feeds users certain "features" that they assume are useful.Just have to give my opinion.

Honestly who gives a s*** if the home button clicks or uses a taptic engine? It's a home button and it does its job extremely well.
Agreed, for grabbing shots and quick snaps there's no question that the camera you have on you is the best one. But most photographers plan shoots, have the right gear, etc. which is a very different thing, don't get me wrong, the pictures get better with each model but are still a long way off from a real DSLR sensor and quality lenses. I only respond to this as the original post I quoted stated the upgrade was for photography.Sure, a decent camera can take better pictures, but I have my phone with me at all times ...
