Happened out of the blue...didn't drop the phone. Never had an iPhone have problems out of the box.

Yep; its either the connector on the logic board or the digitizer flex cable, which they can test by disconnecting it and re connect it.......
To test, they remover the digitiser flex cable and only install lcd flex cable......Lines should go away.
It's a defective iPhone. Either they will replace or repair. Of course it's based off their stock in store as well.

This is true, they have to carry stock for replacement phones. I once replaced my new 6plus 1 day after receiving it because there were several dead pixels on the screen. They replaced it no problem, while they were completely sold out in stores. How long is your wait for the replacements mines two weeksThank you eveyone for the input and reassurance! Went to the Genius Bar this weekend and they said it basically has 2 rows of dead pixels and they will replace the phone. They will call me when they have the Jetblack 7 because they did not have any in stock (they did not even have one for display.. just the JB 7+).
We were there less than 5 mins, about 5 techs were looking at my phone befuddled. He said 'the engineers at Cupertino are going to want to take a look at this one'. I was thinking.. take it now and have them send one to me ASAP j/k![]()

Mine Also was done on Monday. My local store is 5 minutes from my house I have to wait till the store has mine InI wasn't given a time frame when I went to the Genius Bar. He said whenever they have the phone in stock (which they did on Monday but I never got a call that I can pick up a replacement phone).
So yesterday I spoke with a senior advisor and was given a few options..I chose the express replacement service. Supposedly I should get the replacement this Thursday or Friday (I highly doubt it). We'll see.

It's actually from my old iPhone 6. I don't want to waste a new tempered glass screen protector on a phone that's defective and needs to be replaced.
