Hi

  1. Can any1 tell me an estimate date by when the announcement date of the iPhone 7 will be. And base on previous releases how long after announcement does the phones go on sale online
  2. And then afterwards will it be available in the stores?
  3. Lastly base on previous release dates, the first batch of iPhones available on launch sales dates are only available on Carrier deals/contracts or can it be purchase outright as well.
Thx

While this question is something easily answered by searching first...

1) Most likely, the iPhone will be announced sometime in September. Usually after the announcement there is a period of about a week before you can get a phone online. This varies depending on which country you live in.

2) The phones are available in stores the same day you can buy one online.

3) Historically, the Apple official SIM-free unlocked iPhones have been released shortly after the initial release. There is nothing stopping you, however, from going into your carrier's retail store and purchasing whatever they have in stock outright. I wouldn't rely on getting a new iPhone on launch day in store though.

I'll tell you how this iPhone release will go...

It will be announced the same time as every year. It will be trailed by boring Apple App facts. It will be stated as the most powerful iPhone released...ever! It will be available to consumers the same date as last year. It will come base with 16GB like every year. It will be the most incredible iPhone out.

Yes, the still use the same recipe since 2010. No, it's not working as well anymore since the game has changed.

Seems like it worked exceedingly well last year and years previous to that essential breaking records each time.

Event on the 7th (Wednesday), pre-orders live on the 13th (Tuesday) and the iPhone 7 goes on sale on the 23rd (Friday). Let's see if I am right with these three dates!
