My 7 is doing the same thing my 6s did. Bending. I believe the bending is caused by putting it in and taking it out of the case. I use a Siedio Convert case. Unfortunately, the phone is a real pain to remove/install from that case, BUT, it does provide the protection I need from drops and what not.
That's not what phones were meant to do or be designed for.

Additionally, it's not the phone being a pain to remove/install; it's the case.

I've had many many phones in my lifetime and I have to say, the iPhone is THE ONLY phone that has ever bent because I removed it from a case. I've had Seidio cases on my v10, my nexus phones, and never had the bending issues. Granted, the case fits like a glove, and that's why it's a bit difficult to get on/off. However, these case have literally saved my phones.

Popped into the Apple Store yesterday. Wanted to make a final decision on iPhone 7 choice of finish. Noticed on the matte finish around the charging port was prone for wear . Jet was fine.

I have a matte black that gets HEAVY use, in rough areas outdoors alot but in a UAG case...no signs of finish coming off even near the charging port. I take the phone out on occasion to clean all the lint crap out of it and phone still looks new

Shouldnt the case be made to fit on the particular iphone and be able put on and take off easy?
Or should Apple create the phone based on the particular case in mind so it goes in and out easy with Seido cases?
The phone didnt bend, you bend it by putting too much force while removing or putting it in that case that doesnt fit right.
So blame yourself or the case your using. Not the phone.
Common sense much?

Have been using my matte black without a case since launch day and it still looks virtually perfect.

I tend to be careful with my stuff but still much better durability than I expected.

Same here. I do have a slim case that I occasionally use on the phone, but the device looks like it did when I got it.

All my friends can't believe that I don't use a case on my phones (since they all do). I do tend to be really careful with them as well.

All I know is that I've used many many phones in my time with many many cases on those phones. Some cases were Seidio some were not. But hey, Apple has NEVER designed an iPhone that bends.

Off course a cellphone can bend if you put enough force. It's not a hammer.
But I forgot it's not your fault you keep bending all your phones , it's the phones fault :D

Well wait. You said that the iPhone doesn't bend. I said that it does. Remember the iPhone 6s?

Everything bends.
I never said a smartphone cannot bend.
You said I had no common sense simply because I said my phone bent from removing it and putting it back into a case that was designed for the phone. What?

You said you bend your last phone iPhone 6s and now the iPhone 7 also.
Obviously it's not the phones fault but your own fault.
Common sense says it's not the phone bending on its own. Doesn't sound like the case was made well if you need to put that much force to put it on or remove from the case.
