One week to go until what? Release?

Official invites from Apple for the 7th already went out. It's not a rumor at this point.
Did they? I haven't read that. There's been none of the "wonder what the picture on the invite means" speculation that I've seen.

I'll take the day off. These events are always amazing and completely unmissable.

There will be plenty of speculation and predictions on Twitter to keep me entertained throughout the morning. And plenty of articles churned out in the hours beforehand with opinions and more guessing about what is going to go down.

I can't wait. I'm expecting some big surprises because so little has leaked out so far.

I'll probably give the keynote a miss and just check out the forum reactions.

Apple's keynotes are too drawn out and laborious now in my own opinion, plus let's be honest there's only so much they can do with a smartphone or tablet now. The excitement levels aren't what they used to be.

I’ll be at work. Will probably just wait for the summary articles because following the live stream can be frustrating when they drone on about things I don’t care about and then without fail I get pulled away to something work related when they start talking about things I do care about.

Ironically I don’t work with techies or in tech but I’ll probably have to hear a couple coworkers blather on about it while I pretend I’m not paying attention. I tend to file Apple fandom under personal like substance abuse or marital problems. Not everybody needs to hear about. I wish I could convince people of the same about their professional sports preoccupation.

I'm definitely not watching this one. March was the worst event I had seen, WWDC was almost as bad. I don't care if September is the best event ever, the last two were bad enough to make September a read only event for me.

It's fairly easy to look things up.

It's even firstly prominently mentioned on Apple's own web site.

Usually I'm all jazzed about these events but this years seems to be very lackluster. I'll be at work that day so pending any meetings I might turn it on.

As I live in the UK and we are 8 hours ahead it will be 6PM here by which time I should be home from work to watch it live through my Apple TV 4. I appreciate people's comments here about the key notes being drawn out and overly long of late but I'm still looking forward to it despite the possibility of only a small incremental update to the phone. Even though I own an Apple Watch I am interested in upgrading to the next model of that as well. I'm also looking forward to the releases of the various OS updates as I own a variety of Apple devices.

I will just read about it after geting off work. Not real excited but will be getting the 7+. Most of the news is pretty well out about the iPhone and I do not care about the watch.

I will be at home watching the keynote live :)
i am also wondering if macrumors will allow us to post instant updates , kinda like a chatroom so we can talk as the event goes down!?
There's usually a live blog article/thread where people can participate as live updates are posted.
