iPhone 7 plus about to purchase (again) any issues

Are the issues with the popping and static noise still exist?? I sold mine for a Note 7 safe model and later found out it wasn't safe. So I had to return it today. Now trying to decide if I want to get another iPhone. That was my main concern on it as it bothered me a bit.
