Hello!

So when I go running with my phone and I try to listen to music with the Airpods, it skips a lot. If I stay still it works fine. Has anyone else experienced this? It's really annoying. I also have the Apple Watch S3 if that helps...Thanks!

Never heard this issue. What happens if you connect the AirPods to the watch when you run?

I've never had an issue with my 7 Plus + AirPods ... that said, I don't workout with my AirPods. I use a pair of sweat proof JayBird X3s.

It sounds like your ears may be shaped in such a way that when you run AirPods move, creating a gap in your ears, and the IR sensor keeps stopping the music.

Weird.
No problems here with skips with my EarPods.
I use them on treadmills and bikes.

Either that or OP is using a Discman.

My son uses them with the newest Apple Watch. Walking outside and gym/treadmill. No issues.
