So I picked up my 7 Plus on release day and recently I have noticed that the amazing dual camera system is in fact not working at all. My facetime camera works perfectly fine but if I attempt to take a photo or video with the rear cameras it doesnt do anything but rather freezes on what the facetime camera was previously viewing.

Does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix I can try before seeing apple?

Ok. It start to work then all of a sudden yellow bars starting scrambling the screen but only when using the second 2x lense. I think the dual camera system isnt 100% right now

Have you tried a hard reset? (Hold down power and volume buttons together until it restarts) coming from a 6S+ to a 7+ I've noticed that IOS 10 has a few more bugs in it than it does running on the 6S.

Its a problem with the new second lense because using the normal lense is fine but switching to second lense causes all sorts of problems.

So did they say to return it? I'll get my 7+ tomorrow so I'm sort of stock piling problems
And solutions before hand.
Yes you just return it to the store you purchased it from because Apple gives special treatment to anyone that falls into trouble within the first 14 days of purchase. I returned mine and now my local store has stopped all other orders and put a hold so the first one in store is mine, which then pushes everyone else order back. I feel bad but would like a working camera.

Been playing with mine for 24 hours now and its great. So far I have none of the issues some have had. My only quirk is that, coming from a 5s, the 7+ requires a different tact in handling. Loving it so far.

Most people aren't having any of these issues so if you haven't already taken it to the Genius Bar, you should go ahead and do that. It sounds like more of a hardware issue than a software issue to me.
