What is the purpose of the second camera on the back of the new iPhone? The inner second lens?

Well as far as I know one is the telescopic zoom lens right?

I tried covering the inner lens, but my finger didn't block the screen whether I switch it from 1x to 2x. I mean I can still take pictures with the inner lens covered with my finger even if I switch between the wide and telescopic lenses.

This is because in order for the zoom lense to work it has to have sufficient lighting. Without sufficient lighting it just uses the normal lense, with digital zoom

I hear the 7s dual camera scans money and all thanks to the lack of the headphone jack allows Apple to place a money printer inside!! From a very credible source!! /s
