This is very subjective but I just wanted to get some opinions on this. I have a 6s plus for traveling overseas and am very tempted by the 7 plus.

The 6s plus seems very heavy in hand and I just can't seem to get used to it. However when I pick up the 7 plus it feels a lot more balanced and comfortable in hand. The weight is pretty close so I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way.

I came from 6S+ to 7+ and apparently I'm not as observant.

They feel the same in hand to me?

It feels great, I got the jet black, it's a better experience overall, weight, grip, "button", force feedback.

The 7+ is exactly 4 grams lighter than the 6s+. You might be sensitive to that but I'd be lying to you if I said I could tell the difference. :p

Seriously though, it could be that the weight is distributed differently in the 7+. For example, the 6s+ is heavier than the 6+, but the 6s+ feels so much better to hold (others have stated that here as well).

The 6+ felt "top heavy" compared to the 6s+, so even though it was technically heavier it didn't feel like it was going to topple out of your hand and I felt more comfortable operating it one-handed.

The 7+ felt the same to me. I had a pre-order 7+ for two weeks in September but sent it back. I'm giving it another go (arrives today) so I'm curious to see if I missed something the first time around.

I own both the 6s Plus and 7 Plus. I actually thought the 7 Plus weighed more by feel. Perhaps it's because it's more balanced with the larger battery, as you already mentioned. Interesting to know the 7 Plus weighs less
Than the 6s Plus. Maybe due to the 3.5 Jack being deleted contributing to the loss in weight.

I can tell the difference. I went from the 6+ to the 6S + and then the 7 plus. I've noticed the changes in weight each time.

I would have never known had I not looked it up. I would have guessed it would have been heavier also. Maybe you're on to something with the jack. Removing it might have made the phone lighter but made it feel more top heavy. Who knows.

For what it's worth, I handed my 6s+ and my new 7+ to my wife a little while ago and asked her to tell me which one felt lighter. She said "uh...the black one I guess"

Then she handed them both back to me and asked, "what was the point of that?" :D

It doesn't matter what others think. If YOU like it, YOU buy it, and YOU enjoy it during your next trip.

How much you enjoy it is all that matters.

For me, the depth-effect portray mode was what sealed the deal.
