My home button no longer gives feedback after this morning. Is there a toggle for it? Or did it spontaneously break during the night?
Thanks!

I did reboot it and then did the recent update too just in case and no dice. It worked in the middle of the night. I also tried to change how many times it gives feedback for each button push button but nothing. I guess off to apple tomorrow morning?

Did you go into the home button settings and toggle the sensitivity of the home button press?

Also, if you 3D Touch on something or mute your phone, do you get any haptic feedback?

You're already doing the right thing though by taking it to the Apple Store. Good luck!

omg you are lucky. i would do anything for mine to break too. lets trade phones.

Why would you want your iPhone to break? If your experiencing issues with your iPhone 7, as you previously stated in another thread, you're covered under warranty.

No the home button feedback. I want it off. I want the option to turn off all feedback.

Ill do it when the jailbreak comes out but in the meantime it would be nice if it just stopped working like the Ops.

Good questions. No feedback anywhere. Not on 3D Touch either. Seems the whole thing is not working.

Before you waste time going to apple just plug it to iTunes and hit restore.
Then select setup as new.
That's the first thing that Apple will do anyway.
Then if it persists it might be a hardware issue.
I keep telling people to do a restore and setup as new to troubleshoot software bugs themselves first but they rather waste their and Apple reps time instead....

I was hoping for an option to toggle it off. I actually like it, but in terms of conserving Battery life, I would have appreciated this option.

Have you tried power saving mode, really extends battery.

Ever since I stopped living in rain forest, I found topping off battery, every so often during the day to extend my battery life tremendously. Amazing how 15 minutes on iPad power adapter gets me 15% added to power reserve. Have stopped my worry over battery, quite therapeutic.

Hardware issue this time so they replaced the phone. They could have just done the screen but due to my issue with the SIM card before they just replaced the phone.
