iPhone 7 Plus hunting

This thread is for anyone still trying to hunt for the elusive iPhone 7 Plus. Post your success and tips of obtaining the plus 7 model.

Apple Stores
- Keep an eye out for the reservation link: https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/US/en_US/reserve/iPhone/availability?channel=1&iPP=U

- Stores can get shipment on a daily basis (Accept for Sunday). Shipments typically come in the morning before the stores open.

AT&T Stores (corporate stores)
- Stores will not know what is coming in. They do not have detail of shipments. But store managers do have access of incoming shipments. They just don't know what is exactly in them. It could be iPhone 7's or USB cables..

- Shipments typically arrive around noon time.


***UPDATE 9/26/2016 2:15 PM***

First time spotted Jet Black in North America. A few Canadian Apple stores have the JB model but in the 4.7" format. No 5.5" Plus models in JB yet.

There isn't any in RI or MA at any apple stores...

The corporate AT&T stores all say that they have no idea about shipments or deliveries.
 
I've been calling local corporate T-Mobile stores all morning. A couple stores have 7s but no plus models. I'll do another round of calls in a bit and see if there's any update.

Thanks for this link. Used it today and picked up a 7 Plus - was able to pay full price and and pop an ATT sim into a Verizon phone. Thanks again!

There was a bunch available in MA today I checked north shore and Burlington both had black in the higher capacities available....I almost canceled my pre order and picked one up but its due to arrive Tuesday and I didn't want to deal with the headache of refunding my next upgrade.
 
It's 12:01 est and it won't let me choose my state. Only Hawaii is available.

Edited to add at 12:03 it let me choose but they only had At&t phones available. Darn. I need verizon.

There seems to be a decent amount of stock if you check through the apple reservation site. Give it a shot! You might be able to find one near you.
 
I did this .. picked up 10am no prob, once you reserve it's yours they put aside one with your name on it.. nobody can walk in before you and take it

I ended up pre-ordering but am just playing the waiting game. If i can confirm that I can do t-mobile financing at checkout at the apple store then I might just go for it
 
Can you walk in to the Apple Store and buy a Verizon Phone outright without a Verizon acct?
 
I preorded a black iPhone 7+ 256gb from Best Buy on Sunday and the firl helping me said that I would have it before October.

I just did it yesterday for MB 7+ and Gold 7+ (Both Verizon). I lucked out on a random check, and saw the two I wanted on iStock at one of my local Stores in Virginia Beach, VA.

I went to the IUP Reserve Site, and reserved them (one under my Apple Account, and the other under my wife's). We had a 5:00 Reservation showed up at 4:45 and we were out by 5:30.

We wanted to do the Upgrade Program, but since we were not activating on Verizon we had to buy outright (just as I expected based on everything I have read on here). We like Interest Free stuff so we are using other money (at no cost to us) than what is in our accounts. We just applied in store for the Barclay Apple Visa (this is then considered Outright Purchased by Apple), and did them at 18 month interest free. We will have them paid for next year at this time to upgrade again.

We left the store with the phones still sealed in the box, and when we got home, I popped our T-Mobile SIMs in and they are working just fine on T-Mobile.
 
To anyone near Chicago, + models are showing up every day, in every color besides JB. Follow the iStockNow link and just keep refreshing every once in a while, updates sporadically.

I stayed up late to order a JB+ (just got it today) but had I known how easy it would have been to get a Matte Black 7+ with this site I would have maybe just done that.

I just tried this earlier today and wasn't able to purchase one I reserved with a different carrier. According to the clerk they received notice yesterday that some of the phones were reserved for people enrolled in the upgrade program and they couldn't sell to me out right.

Don't know how accurate that is, but keep that in mind if you're trying this.

It was kind of weird. I wanted to buy something outright...essentially pay cash right there....for something they had on hand and wasn't reserved for anyone.

I have heard this happened to a few people, but not many. In the email confirmation they send you, it specifically states this under "Frequently Asked Questions":

"Can I change to a different form of payment for the iPhone Upgrade Program?
Yes. You can also upgrade your iPhone to carrier financing or purchase it at full price. Ask a Specialist for more information."

This would lead me to believe that you do not have to be doing IUP...

Looks like they changed the wording recently. Here's what the confirmation says in the email I got 4 hours ago

"Can I change from the iPhone Upgrade Program to a different form of payment?
Yes. You must be currently enrolled in the iPhone Upgrade Program, so that you can upgrade your iPhone to carrier financing, or purchase at full price. Ask a Specialist for more information."

I guess they did give me ample warning....
 
Storage and color are limited but my local Apple store has some in the mornings each day for walkins. An hour or so before the store opens one can get a Plus.

When are you looking? I'm in Chicago and I can only find 32 gb models whenever i check.
