iPhone 7 plus iTunes error

I gave my sister an iPhone 7 plus and when she plugs it in to iTunes it says iPhone cannot be used because iTunes needs to be updated but when I click on check for updates it says it's the current software.

Restart the computer. If that doesn't work, reinstall iTunes.

She is using a windows vista. Which I don't see listed
