I preordered an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black within just a couple minutes preorders going live and was given a delivery window of Oct 10-17. Oh well... it could have been November, right? Since then I have been periodically checking the Apple Store app and UPS for any sign of an order status change. It has shown "Your Order is Processing" since shortly after placing the order. Well, when I checked tonight it was still showing the same. I figured I would go ahead and check UPS (using my ohine number) fully expecting to not see anything. However, when I clicked the search button this time it found a record! My iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black left Shanghia, China and is scheduled to be delivered by 8:00pm on 9/16... Launch day!!!

Sorry dude but screen shot or its hard to belive. Nothing personal but there already been people pulling this stunt.
First thing's first - did you pre-order anything else when you pre-ordered your iPhone? When you use your phone number to search by reference, it pulls up all of your pending Apple orders that have movevent, so if you have an Apple Watch on order as well, for example, it's possible that shipped instead.
If you did order more than one item, use your order number for your iPhone as a reference when tracking within UPS, except OMIT THE LAST TWO CHARACTERS. If something still comes up, then you're good, and we need to see pictures! If not, then that means it was another item that was shipped and coming to you.

We did two preorders the other night. One for me and one for my wife's number. I wonder if it's maybe pulling her phone up instead? I tried searching again with each of the two order numbers (with and without the last two digits) and nothing comes up... 
This exact method definitely works. Just tried it with my 7+ Black coming on Friday. 7+ Jet Black didn't bring anything up

Well, I checked this morning from the laptop and the tracking information doesn't pull up with either order number (full or leaving off the last two numbers). So, I put in my phone number again and when it came up I was able to log into the UPS account and get further information. Under the reference section of the shipment there was a line that looked to be a serial number. Took that number and keyed it into Apple's warranty verification page and it comes back... iPhone 7... not iPhone 7 Plus.Nope

Not to know what to think of it. My pending CC charge vanished this morning. Original dates were 9/26-10/3. Got it moved to 9/22-9/29 (expedited shipment but didn't pay anything). Can't find in support profile or UPS tracking.
Hello!! So I tried this order number thing on the UPS site... something comes out.. and it's an iPhone cuz I called UPS to verify why this package was going to Washington and not Texas where I'm at... they told me the package name didn't match mine and that it was from Apple....I was like : ... so they advise to call Apple and ask what's going on.. my delivery date is still for late October .. ordered within 15mins
Finally some movement. 256 jet black PLUS ATT Next. Ordered 3:07am eastern confirmation email 3:12am. Debit card charged today and Apple shows preparing for shipment. My original dates were 9/26-10/3. It changed to 9/21- 9/28.

My 256GB Jet black att plus just moved to preparing for shipment and an earlier date from sept. 26- the 23rd.... Looks like we could be getting them really soon for the group who ordered early enough!
Wishful thinking hopefully the phones were already stateside and we get them tomorrow?
Do you have your tracking number? If so, can you check where the phone is at?
I don't believe this, the op must be pulling a prank here, I preordered the exact same iPhone and have a delivery estimate oct4-10 and still stuck st processing
Preparing for Shipment just delayed my JB 7+ 128GB from Sept 17-24 to Sept 22-29. Not looking like JB delivering by launch tomorrow.

Even my case is stuck at sept 16-20 no movement -.-
Just checked UPS by reference and the only thing showing up is my case that was delivered already yesterday. Nothing yet on the phone but possible it'll ship out today, tomorrow or sometime next week
