iPhone 7 PLUS Jet Black November Apple.com thread

I ordered my phone at 3:03am central time and got an undated November. I'm so annoyed. I've seen some movement on some 10/31 JB dates being prepared to ship. Why can't I just have an estimate with an actual date already? 
Right there with you on that question. It may be that Apple never anticipated going to November literally within an hour of pre-orders going live. I of course unwittingly ordered the most popular configuration. If I'd known 128GB was going to be so hot I would have opted for 256GB. You'd think that would be the most popular storage size as people have been crying for years that iPhones/iPods don't go above 128GB.I ordered my phone at 3:03am central time and got an undated November. I hate to even say it but those phones marked for November delivery probably haven't even been manufactured yet.. I want mine just as bad as the next but I'm not holding my breath.
The thing I don't get is that if you order JB right now apple says November. Just like if you ordered on 9/9 at :15am. So what gives? You would think the way things went we they would be saying December by now.
That's exactly what I thought, too. I knew Jet Black was going to be popular. Every new color Apple comes out with tends to be the fastest to sell out during pre orders. But, I also thought I'd be a little safer getting the 128gb.
Should've wasted $100 more for the 256gb. Dammit! Lol
I preorder the 256 GB Jet Black and also have a November date so it didn't really make a difference which size you got I don't think.
I actually have seen ONE jet black phone in the wild. And it was at an apple store. I suspect producing them is difficult.
I saying if you go on Apple right now and look at the dates they're showing now for a Jet Black, it shows November. Not speaking for orders placed through mobile carriers.
I ordered two phone, the second was a Rose Gold 7 + through ATT and it says November 4-14 ship date even though I can walk off the street and buy at most apple stores. Carriers aren't taking care of internet orders

Thats exactly why everyone just has "November". They have no idea at this point. They likely won't be even assembled for weeks. Apple has also stated that the jet black finishing process has several more steps and takes longer to produce.

I ordered two apple watches, cases and two iPhone 7+ 256GB Jet Black all at once. One of the iPhones is showing delivery 10-17th October while the other says November.
Weird how the dates are so different yet ordered at the same time on the apple website.

Still no apple reservation stock for any Jet Black models for any carrier and any size.
Next week should be better for the November folks that ordered within the 1st hour. I ordered mine at 12:37 AM (PST) and I got a November release for my AT&T i7 Plus JB.

I ordered a little later and my expected date is in November here in Australia, but I ordered through a carrier not Apple itself. With us receiving less than half the volume of phones compared to the iPhone 6 launch two years ago, and I had to wait 6 weeks for the 128GB 6 back then, I might be watching the next keynote for the iPhone 7S or 8 on my old iPhone 6 still
