Most likely the 7 plus will get reduced in price next week but my problem is I need a phone now. If i buy the 7 plus today and it gets reduced in price next week will apple adjust the price I paid. I know there is a 14 day window to return the phone so that would be silly if I had to return it then buy again.

Depends if they discontinue the storage option that you buy, I’d imagine. On the 6s, they discontinued the 16 and 64GB options

If you purchase the iPhone directly from Apple, they may adjust the price if you're within your 14 days of your return. It all depends on how willing they are and who you speak to. But they have made exceptions like this before in the past. If they do adjust the price, I would go to your local Apple Store if you can, versus calling them on the phone.

The 7 Plus contains defective hardware and/or design, IMO, that causes the speaker phone quality to be horrendous to the point of unusable. I've tried 5 of them now, and they are all bad. Obviously it's a hardware issue or it would have been fixed by now. None of the "fixes" mentioned in this thread and the dozens of others across the Web actually work.

Makes sense to me. My 7+ sounded awesome early on but at this point it seems way more muted than my fiancé’s iPhone 6.

Verizon, I think I will wait and see what happens. I would get the 7s plus or whatever it is called but that is just too long a wait
