hey guys! when the pre orders are available for the iphone7/plus will there be some sort of deal like there is with the note 7 ( fitbit or speakers or charging pad)? has there been something similar in the past with apple?

Never happen in the past but never know but I doubt it! Apple is a cheapskate and never give stuff away! Plus, iPhones are consider luxury goods and luxury goods do not get discounted!

Yes thats one of the reasons y i always stuck with apple but seeing now that the note 7 is priced the same if not a bit higher than the 7 plus will be priced... with better feature (i hate to admit) im thinking of switching to samsung

Doubtful. That would be very unlike Apple
To do this. With the deleted 3.5 Jack underway on both the 7/7Plus, it was rumored Bluetooth earbuds would be combined for a higher premium. But that also seems unlikely, as Apple would sell those separate on the Apple Store.

Apple doesn't give stuff away with the new iPhones. The Samsung S7 + Gear VR promo earlier this year was awesome, wish I'd of jumped on that instead of my SE.

Switch away, see you in about six months. Enjoy.

Isn't it curious that a high end phone that's so much better need to add Cracker Jack prizes to promote sales? o_O Maybe people are catching on that stats and specs are b.s. As it relates to daily real time performance. Look I have an Octi core chip. Yes it's a great hand warmer and eats battery like you won't believe, but it has eight cores, awesome.

Reactions: Newtons Apple
Unlike Samsung Apple don't give stuff away with their devices, they don't need to, people queue around the block for Apple products, Apple's own webpage is a pain to get onto when trying to pre-order iPhones simply because of the amount of traffic on pre-order day. The same can't be said for Samsung at the moment, and they offer a "free gift" as an incentive to pre-order/buy their products.

Depends what storage you want

I would want 128GB so therefore iPhone would cost 70-80 more

I buy the base storage model so it wouldn't cost anywhere close to the same, hence why I can't justify the cost of the Note 7. I also stated it's too big for me so even if it was the same price I wouldn't get it.

You need to compare the note 7 with the 7 plus. They will be comparable in price.

The S7 should be compared to the iPhone 7.

Even if you compare the 6s Plus to the Note 7, the 6s Plus costs £699 for a 64GB version, which is still cheaper than the Note 7 which i believe is around £750 in price. Even when the iPhone 7 comes out i think the 7 Plus will still be around the same price and therefore still cheaper than the Note 7.

But the note 7 has expandable memory so you can't really compare it to a 64 GB plus model.

Again, I won't be buying a big phone anyway so the argument is pointless. The Note 7 is too big and expensive imo, I've never been considering one either I simply said it looks fantastic.
