So I was reading somewhere that Tim Cook and Apple yet again did not anticipate the high demand for the "Plus" model and they don't know if it supply will even out in time for the holidays.

Seriously now, this is the 3rd "Plus" iPhone they release and every time they have supply "issues" due to their inability to anticipate the market's trend for large screen phones. Can't they see the current trend is towards phablets and small screen phones are becoming a thing of the past?

I noticed the 7 is in Stock except the scratch magnet jet black yet the Plus is 3-4 weeks still. Come on Apple...if you can't have something in stock why bother releasing a phone every year and instead focus on supply. I could live with a newer model coming out every 2 years rather than wait over a month for a phone to arrive.

That depends on what you're getting and from where. At most carriers and from Apple, the MB+ is back ordered 3-6 weeks.

2 rose gold, 1 mb. T mobile, who has gotten the least iPhone stock.

You also ordered at the end of September. Currently, they're back ordered 3-6 weeks. A couple of my family members ordered the 256GB MB+ a week ago and their expected ship date is 11/28-12/19. T-Mobile says they have none in stock and there is a huge line of people waiting.

I ordered my matte black 128GB 7+ and my wife ordered a rose gold 128GB 7+ From Verizon on 9/23 and they just shipped today.

I also had crazy ship dates of 11/15-12/15. Reading the t mobile thread this past week people have been canx their 32 go (which is slow to ship) and getting 255gb shipped same week. I bet your phone comes sooner.

Holy Cow!!! So the alleged 3-4 weeks shipping estimate is not a bluff...

So how does this stock replenishment work at Apple? It says to check back at 12:01am for new reservations etc. Does this mean that whatever they receive on the present day won't be available until the following day? Basically everything today had no IP7+'s so in theory if they received a shipment today at some point it won't be available till tomorrow? Or do they just get it in, scan, and sold?

Check istocknow.com. It's accurate as it can be. Apple Store receives shipments daily. But they don't know what they are receiving until they unpackaged the shipment. Then they put them in their inventory list ready to be sold. So istocknow.com will show them available once the store receives them.

You can basically reserve one using this link: https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/US/en...1&sourceID=email&rv=0&path=&iPP=U&appleCare=Y

*Note that the e-mail confirmation on the FAQ will say that you must be currently enrolled in iUP in order to buy it full price. But it depends on who you get and they can allow you to purchase it in full price.

So basically that link is only for those already enrolled in IUP? I bought an IP7 in September but have been wanting the 7+ SO I am technically in the program but wouldn't be upgrading the 7 I currently have, I will need to sell it.

Well the link is supposedly for iUP. I reserved one using this link and was not enrolled in iUP and was able to buy it at full price. It all depends on who you get. If you are currently enrolled in iUP, you can reserve one and when they ask you if you want to trade. Simply say no and you want to pay outright and you should not have an issue with this.

Well I don't want to pay the full price (969 upfront if thats what you mean) I plan to get on the program to pay the 41xx dollars etc. Thanks for the info!

I used the link and purchased on AT&T Next program. Had to cancel one I ordered first day, to get authorization. Got my JB Plus 4 weeks ahead of Nov 18 promise date.
