iPhone 7 Plus-Touch ID Slower than 6S?

Anyone else notice the touch ID is slower than the 6S? I notice it in the app store espessialy. With the 6S I couldn't even see the popup requesting the fingerprint when downloading/buying apps, now with the 7 it takes a second or two to register.

I have the 7 Plus and 6S Plus right next to each other. TouchID is the same speed on both for me...

Maybe they slowed it down by a millisecond because people were complaining the 6s was too fast? But mine seems the same as my 6s.
