You can adjust tint and hue in settings. Look under: general> accessibility> Display accommodations> color filters

Fixed.

I've got the regular 7 and can't see any yellowness. The glue excuse sounds ridiculous, when was it manufactured the same morning?
Yes it is fake. Apple just told me that there are 2 screen manufacturers which causes diffrences just like last year with ghe 6s #chipgate. I am going to get my phone exchanged one last time as i want to give it one more shot. But they said i shouldjt worry about it and frankly there are roght unless you have tints in the wrong place

Nope. Cant adjust only half the screen, plus this puts a new color layer over the display muting all colors. Its not like the mac where you can adjust the white point. This is a half assed, pisspoor hack option.

Tightening quality control is the only real solution to this. Barring that, a personal shopper service where the shopper will buy and return devices until good screen is achieved, then that device is presented to buyer. Let's call it iScreening.

Honestly, I'd be willing to pay more for either option to avoid having to play the damned screen lottery, because that's exactly what it is.

I swear this isnt the first time. I love iphones. But not the built quality. I got the phone replaced but the screen is the same and now i dont really care i will get used to it. As long as apple has stated that its not a defect. Its just 2 different manufacturers playing the lottery is a complete waste of time. I just have the thing where the phone cracks in gently twisted.( anyone who is having the problem i have played around woth the screws and noticed that theres an issue with the screws that messes up the displays position every time you twist it, i have confirmed this with 2 devices so dont be worry about that unless you can physically see your phone screen moving or doing something weird). I wish apple had one manufacturer for every part. It was pain having the samsung and tsmc thing in the 6s and now this bs is just stupid

My niece and mother both got an iPhone 7 plus and I got a 7. All have pretty uniform screen. Sure the overall color temperature changes from one to the other, but they are all uniform.

I replaced several iphones and iPads in the past du to screen issues, but no problems with 7.

Same everything is uniform with me too but it was a little bit different NOT YELLOW. Just like the white point was a bit off and then they told me about the different manufacturers and i finally came to peace. My iphone is great no issues

Not sure about the glue myth, but my iphone looks a lot better now after a week of use. Not sure if "glue" or my eyes got used to it nut its still uneven

Wrong

Has anyone compared their phone and seen if it does get fixed over time.

It does not.

I've had 7 different 7 Plus phones. They all have a yellow tint, and the stuff about "glue" is pure BS. You can fiddle with the tint control, but the phone never has a pleasing all-lighting white that the earlier models have.

I think the 7 Plus is a huge disappointment in many respects, this being one of them.

Lol wow what an argument. Unless you can prove where you can adjust the color of half the screen, it is you sir who is wrong.

You got used to it.

Does anyone know how to fix the clicking issue
I went through a few phones too and most had some type of clicking. I tested every display model and they had it too when you press down the top and bottom.

Just poor build control.

As for the yellow tint. Kre62 is right. You can't adjust half the screen and every iPhone I've seen has a darker tint on the bottom compared to top. @kre62 and I have been on a silent battle with apple and yellow screens since late 2010

I have been messing around woth the screws like loosing them and taking it out and that affects the sound being there or not or being too lound or discreet or too easy to create or really hard to create. I dont understand thats its been months since the release and apple isbt doing anything. If this keeps up i might have to switch os. Really mad at apple for paying $1000 and getting bs

This is an inherent nature of LCD. I have a Nexus 7 and if you think the iPhone was bad you would be appalled at the Nexus.Half of the screen is atrociously yellow tinted. There is no solution to this but an OLED screen. I got a perfect 7 plus on the first try but even after 4 returns didn't get a perfect screen on an 6. Just keep trying

I can be wrong but I never heard of yellow LCD screens until things went HD and Retina. All the cellphones, HDtvs, ibooks, flat panel iMac, blackberries, early iphones, Apple displays ... I never remember this being an issue. I can be wrong. I personally bought an iMac, iphone 5, original iPad, and macbook unibody and none had issues. It started to happen with iPad 3 and iphone 7 (maybe I have 6 too)

The first time I got a yellow screen was on my 3GS, so not just retina. That was 2009, the first year I heard from forum members the fiction that apple was supposedly going to a warmer, "moar korrekt" color tint (of course, the vast majority of 3GS screens were clear/bluish so peace out on that theory). The glue myth came along one year later in 2010 and has never died since.

The bottom line is this: Apple thinks you are too dumb or too complacent to notice it's poor QC. I reject that attitude and so do many others.
