Curious to see if any other Jet Black iPhone 7 owners notice that the sim tray isn't flush with the case. According to the video below, all 3 of their JB iPhone 7 sim trays were not totally flush with the case.

Surely that would make the sim tray a little more recessed.

Polishing would be far greater on exterior rather than in the recessed pocket.

Good call on rubber seal. Also quite plusible. It may be a combination of things rather than one cause alone. Would be interesting to take a measurement of overal width with calipers between jet black and other color.

Even if it has a small lip, thats no big deal at all. In fact some people might actually like that as it could be more or less extra to grip to the sides.

It's probable but that would mean that the person is too dumb to know what the difference is between the sim card slot and volume button...

If they are calling the sleep button the sim tray, then yes, it sticks out appropriately, LOL
