I'm sure you've all seen the new iPhone.
I'm not really surprised that they scrapped the standard headphone jack. Apple always seem to have their new devices leaked weeks/months in advance.
My biggest concern with the 7 is the fact that since using wired headphones/earphones utilises the lightning connector, how would charging and wired earphones work simultaneously?
I don't think this has been covered and for me it's quite a big deal. uou can avoid this using Bluetooth AirPods but not everyone would want to spend $159 on them.
The only solution I see is if Apple release a new connector that increases the lighting port to two slots, one for the charging cable and one for the Lightning EarPods. Even then, I still think it'll be a little gimmicky and quite a pain to carry around...
This wasn't really thought through now, was it!?
